My story
Starting at the bottom. Growing. Starting again.
I began working at a very young age, spending weekends and school holidays in my father’s workshop. At eighteen I started working continuously while continuing my studies: my family also needed my support. I worked as an accounts assistant, conducted market research, became assistant to the head of Administration, took responsibility for Sales Administration and taught vocational training. Very different experiences that taught me the value of hard work, commitment and responsibility.
After graduating and gaining eight years of professional experience, I was hired at twenty-six as Managing Director of a family-owned company. It was not my family’s business: an entrepreneur chose to entrust me with the leadership of his company while I was still very young.
At thirty-four, I could have remained in a secure position. Instead, I chose to test myself again, improve my English and prepare for an international career. Not everything worked the first time. That is precisely what taught me the most.
