This week, I had the honour of taking part in the Anacam Giovani event at the NH Bologna de La Gare, alongside Dante Pozzoni, Icaro Sborgia and Alberto Piatti, all with extensive knowledge of Italy's lift industry.

I am still a “young” learner in this beautiful country. I was pleased by the interest in my presentation as Country Manager of Eninter Italia. I shared my perspective through my own experiences and, above all, listened to the concerns of the next generation of business owners.

My impression is that Italy has a very strong network of lift businesses, but many need greater scale to meet the challenges ahead. I am not neutral: I believe in the project we are building. To me, bringing capabilities together and creating synergies is a strategy for long-term continuity.

I see Eninter Italia, an Italian family business, as a third way: a project where people can learn, develop and help build a stronger company, ready to address competition, regulatory requirements, safety and new technologies.

I would like to leave a mark here: a leadership style built on focus, passion and ambition, helping people grow and placing customer service at its heart.

Thank you to Sofía, Giulia, Luca and Anacam for the invitation and warm welcome. Sharing this space was a privilege and a chance to learn. I remain available to Anacam and its young business owners to keep contributing and learning.

What I take away: growing as a business makes sense when it also helps people grow.

Are you organising an event on leadership, business growth or transformation in the lift industry? I would be happy to discuss how I could contribute from my experience. Get in touch.
